Our Process

How We Work

At JPA Nutrition Farm, we focus on sustainable, high-quality cultivation by using carefully selected seeds and nutrient-rich organic growing mediums. Our process begins with meticulous seed selection, ensuring only the best varieties for optimal flavor and nutrition.

We grow our microgreens in a controlled environment to maintain ideal temperature, humidity, and lighting conditions, promoting healthy and rapid growth. Throughout the growing cycle, we monitor the plants closely, using natural methods to protect them from pests and diseases without harmful chemicals.

We also prioritize eco-friendly packaging and timely delivery, aiming to provide fresh microgreens that support a healthy lifestyle while minimizing environmental impact.

01

Planting Land Preparation

On our Microgreen Farm, land preparation is a crucial first step to ensure a healthy and productive grow environment. We start by selecting a clean, well-drained area with good sunlight exposure or set up controlled indoor trays for consistent conditions.

The soil or growing medium is thoroughly sterilized or replaced with nutrient-rich, organic substrates to prevent contamination and promote vigorous seed germination. If using soil beds, we carefully till the land to loosen it, enhancing aeration and root penetration. We also check and balance the pH levels to create an optimal growing environment.

Proper leveling and drainage systems are established to avoid waterlogging and maintain consistent moisture levels. This meticulous preparation sets the foundation for strong microgreen growth, high yields, and premium quality produce.

02

Seed Planting Process

The seed planting process is carried out with great precision to ensure healthy and uniform growth. We begin by selecting high-quality, organic seeds that are tested for germination rates and purity. The seeds are then soaked in clean, filtered water for a specific period to enhance sprouting.

After draining, we evenly spread the seeds over a pre-prepared growing medium, such as a sterilized soil mix or coconut coir, in shallow trays. The seeds are gently pressed into the medium to ensure good seed-to-soil contact without burying them too deep, which allows for optimal air circulation and moisture absorption.

We maintain consistent moisture by misting the trays regularly, avoiding overwatering, and place them in a controlled environment with ideal temperature, humidity, and indirect light. This careful planting process ensures rapid germination, strong seedling establishment, and ultimately vibrant microgreens rich in flavor and nutrients.

03

Harvesting Process

The harvesting process is carried out with utmost care to preserve the freshness and quality of the produce.

We monitor the growth closely, typically harvesting when the microgreens reach their peak height—usually between 7 to 14 days after planting—when the first true leaves have developed and the nutrients and flavors are at their highest.

Harvesting is done by hand using clean, sharp scissors or blades to gently cut the stems just above the soil or growing medium, ensuring minimal disturbance to the roots or remaining plants.

This method helps maintain the delicate texture and vibrant color that our customers value. Once harvested, the microgreens are immediately transferred to a cool, clean environment to retain freshness and extend shelf life.

The process is efficient and hygienic, ensuring that our microgreens reach consumers in perfect condition, ready to enhance any dish with their nutritional benefits and fresh taste.
